JEWEL AFRICA

REFUND & RETURNS POLICY

Last updated: August 2026

We want you to be completely satisfied with your Jewel Africa purchase. If you are not entirely happy with an eligible item, you may request a return in accordance with the terms set out below.

RETURNS

Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of receiving your order.

To qualify for a return, the item must be unworn, unused and in its original condition and packaging. Proof of purchase may be required before a return can be processed.

Please contact Jewel Africa before returning any item so that our team can provide the appropriate return instructions.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

Certain items cannot be returned or refunded unless they are defective or otherwise required by applicable law.

These include:

  • Bespoke or custom-made jewellery.
  • Jewellery that has been personalised, engraved, resized or altered specifically for you.
  • Sale or final-sale items.
  • Items showing signs of wear, damage or alteration after purchase.

INSPECTION OF RETURNS

All returned jewellery will be inspected once received. We will notify you whether the return has been approved after confirming that the item meets the conditions of this policy.

Jewel Africa reserves the right to decline a return where an item has been worn, damaged, altered or returned in a condition that prevents it from being resold.

REFUNDS

Where a return is approved, any refund will be processed using the original payment method unless another arrangement has been agreed.

Please allow 14 days for the refund to be processed after approval. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time before the funds appear in your account.

EXCHANGES

If you would prefer to exchange an eligible item, please contact our team and we will advise you on availability and the options applicable to your purchase.

Any price difference relating to an exchange will need to be settled before the replacement item is released.

DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us as soon as possible if an item is damaged, defective or you have received the incorrect item.

Where appropriate, we will assess the item and work with you to resolve the issue.

RETURN SHIPPING

Unless an item is confirmed to be defective or incorrect, return shipping, courier charges and any associated insurance costs are for the purchasers account.

We recommend using a secure, trackable and appropriately insured courier service when returning fine jewellery.

BESPOKE & PERSONALISED JEWELLERY

Bespoke, made-to-order, customised, engraved, resized or otherwise personalised jewellery is created specifically for the customer and is therefore considered final sale unless the item is defective or otherwise required to be accepted for return under applicable law.

SALE ITEMS

Sale and final-sale items are not eligible for return or refund unless required by applicable law.
